Books are invited in English and Hindi languages from the Publishers / Authors / Distributors for consideration under Foundation's Central Selection of Books Scheme for distribution to various public libraries all over India. Books published during the last three (3) years including the current year under broad groups of subjects like (i) Art & Culture (ii) Social Science, History and Law (iii) Philosophy and Religion (iv) Science including technology, medicine, agriculture, computer (v) General and Reference Books (vi) Books on Feminism and Women's Studies, Tribal matters, North Eastern State, Minorities, Biography and Writings, Management, Economics etc. and (vii) Children literature may be submitted to the office of the Foundation at its above mentioned address . Foreign publications and Text books will not be accepted for selection.
Books received during this period will be considered by the Book Selection Committee in one/two meetings subject to availability of fund. Specimen copy of the selected books will be retained by the Foundation. The Foundation reserves the right to reject any book(s) without assigning any reason thereof.
